(CNSNews.com) – A pro-union group is suggesting that the death of a temporary worker at a Long Island Wal-Mart on Black Friday stems partly from the fact that Wal-Mart workers are not unionized.

Yes, of course. If only the worker had been a union worker, all this could have been avoided. Maniacal hordes won't trample union workers - it's a known fact!
Well, the union doesn't claim that. They claim that if the workers ran Wal-mart, there would not be situations like this. Perhaps.
But don't unions have a long history of violence? Their violence has usually been intentional. At least in the case of the horde, it was just negligent stupidity.
